Learning From Past Shortcomings

This title follows the release of the advanced the last installment, launched in the past to a poor feedback it found it hard to recover from.

"It's likely that we couldn't create and produce Battlefield 6 without the learnings we had in the previous title," Rebecka explains to our team.

Among those insights was to involve fans involved from the start, and the developers started invite-only community playtests earlier this year.

Their "feedback was explosively positive," states Rebecka.

A further omitted element from the last game was a solo experience, which has been reintroduced for this release.

The Guildford team creative lead Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the person responsible for "making sure those stages are as enjoyable and compelling as can be for the gamers."

Regardless of claims that the scale of the game had created pressure for the various studios partnering internationally to create the game, Fas is optimistic about the process.

"Working with different perspectives, varied heritages, it's a really fascinating atmosphere to be engaged with every day," he explains.

"This entire strategy has been an innovation but something really thrilling because we are collaborating with team members from around the globe."

Concerning the expectation on the developers, Fas comments: "We experience demand but at the same time it's exciting.

"This is a major undertaking. It's likely the most significant that most of us have previously been involved in."

Emerging Talent Adds New Insight

That's definitely true of a minimum of one team member, visual designer the artist.

The 21-year-old makes the atmospheric effects that influence the atmosphere, style, and focus of the story mode.

Vlad finished an internship at Criterion before getting a role with them, and presently operates part-time while concluding his digital arts qualification at his school.
