Jude Bellingham Functioned in a high position down the right and contributed with dirty work. Showed glimpses of brilliance but scuffed a shot high. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. Seven

The winger Had the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. With Quansah staying deep, it fell to him to stretch the play out wide although his balls from wide areas varied in quality. Replaced late in the match. Six

The captain The decisive figure with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes in an England shirt. His first a classic close-range tap-in and his next an excellent headed goal following a clever run off his defender. At 32, his form is unwavering and England stand a real opportunity in future competitions with him leading the line. Eight

The attacker Found it tough to make an impact on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity after being played in by Bellingham however the keeper denied him. Rashford produced a bigger influence in his place. Five
